Miracles

Miracles happen everyday and everywhere around all of us. Sometimes we are blind to many miracles around us as we become busy with everyday life. I am as guilty as anyone.

Life is like a gift that is a Miracle
When I wake up everyday I don't throw away my dreams I hold them close to my heart because I know that my dreams will be apart of an ordinary miracle.
I want to see a Miracle? Don't You?

These sweet boys are Growing and Changing Everyday and that in itself is a Miracle. Go check out Amie's Blog and look at the AMAZING photos that she has taken of the boys over the past few days. She is working on her Passion of Photography and I think that she is doing a FANTASTIC JOB. So stop by and tell her how she is doing.
Thanks for your love!

Just a reminder: tomorrow is the question and answer post. I will answer all your lovely questions. So send me all the last minute questions. I am excited to answer all your questions.

It Is Time - Ask Me Anything!

Hi Blogging Friends and Family it is time for all of you to ask all the pressing questions that are on your mind and I will answer.  So send the questions my way.  I will talk questions today and tomorrow and answer all questions on Thursday.  This should be fun!
I have already received a few questions:
1.  How did I end up in Arkansas from Montana?
2.  How did Chad and I meet?
3.  Decorating Ideas and where do I get some of my decor in my house?
I will answer the above questions and all that you submit!
So what are you waiting for start asking!

But first I wanted to share with you the lovely cake and flowers I received from my sweet husband for our 3rd Wedding Anniversary.  The cake was Velvet Red and it was Yummy!  It has sand on the bottom of the cake and the same flowers that I had at my wedding on the top of the cake.  It also has the saying, "All because Two People Fell In Love."  It was so thoughtful and I loved all the details.  I think I have a AWESOME husband.  Thanks Chad for making our day special.  I love you!

Happy Tuesday Blogging Friends!

Crazy Monday and Fall Decor!

I had a plan today to do my Fall Picture Post and than end the post with a Question and Answer note.  However let me tell you I had a bad morning.  I was at the office working on my Monday reports and feeling productive for a Monday when all of the sudden my computer went black.  I thought maybe it got unplugged and the battery died.  Well that was not the case it completely crashed and is died and there is no way to bring it back to alive.  I need a new computer.  So after speaking with our IT department I am getting a new computer.  This is just not the week that I need my computer to die.  I have two meetings with Walmart this week and a lot of work to do!  I pray that my computer will arrive sometime tomorrow so I can work.  So this is really not the way to start a Monday!  I hope everyone else had a better Monday than I did!  I wish for my Tuesday to be much better!

So now onto the Fall Decor!
So this weekend Chad and I did some Fall decorating.  I added touches of Fall to the inside of our home and Chad took care of the outside.  I hope you enjoy our decorations as much as I do.  We are so excited for the Fall and we have many plans for the next few weeks of October.  We will be busy, but we love it!  Happy Fall!

Tomorrow will be the post for Questions to Ask Me and I will answer the questions on Wednesday or Thursday of this week.  So starting thinking of all those questions you are excited to ask and I will answer.  Have a great evening!

3 Years = Chad + Melissa

Three years on September 26th, Chad and I became Mr. and Mrs. Chad Stafford.  At this very moment we were in Ocho Rios, Jamaica getting married on the beach!
Happy Anniversary to my Amazing Husband Chad!

Chad and I met in 2004 at work. At the time we both worked at the Walmart Home Office, I was a Replenishment Manager working in the Jewelry Department and Chad was a Buyer for Silver Jewelry. At the time that we were working together I was engaged to another person short story it didn't work out as we fought more than anything else and I was not going to have a relationship with someone that this is all that we did. Not healthy at all! In 2005 I moved out of the Jewelry Division and began working in the Home area. Chad and I remained friends and sometime in April of 2005 we ended up going on a date and everything developed quickly after that date. We got along so well and had some wonderful dates. I remember my 1st birthday that I spent with Chad. He created a beach in the backyard. It was amazing and very romantic. He is always one to give amazing gifts and surprises. On April 1st 2006 Chad proposed at Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista, Arkansas. Yes on April Fool's Day I think he wanted to make sure that I did not know what he was up too. We had a picnic at the Park and than we walked up to the Creek, by the way, it started raining and once we got to the creek just quickly said a few words and than he proposed I don't really remember any of the words because it was raining. Of coarse I was surprised and I said Yes because I loved Chad and knew we would spend our lives together. After a few pictures in the rain we quickly ran back to the Truck as it was beginning to rain hard and by the time we made it to the truck we were soaking wet. Oh well it was totally worth it! That evening we went to Copelands to celebrate our engagement and than we went over to the Fisher's house to share our news with them. It was a great day!

I have always wanted to have a simple beach wedding and I am glad that Chad agreed that a beach wedding was the best place for us to get married. I spent the next few months planning all the details for our beach wedding. I wanted to go to Jamaica and have all the details complete so I could enjoy our family and friends. It was stress free and a wonderful beach vacation and wedding. We had our amazing friends and family with us on our special day and they made it very special for the both of us. After we returned back from our vacation we had a Martini Reception Party at our home for all the friends that could not make the trip and it was amazing. We had our friend Casey serving drinks, appetizers, and a Rick's Bakery Cake. We spent the evening watching videos from the wedding and enjoying our friends. I would not change anything about our wedding.

For our 1st Anniversary Chad and I went to Cancun, Mexico and it was a great honeymoon/1st Anniversary. The resort was amazing and we had the best time.

For our 2nd Anniversary we went to Playa Mujeres with our friends Shawn and Kendall. It was a great resort and a great trip with our friends.

This year we are just at home spending the day together and I love it. I love being home and spending quality time together. This is the best gift. The only plans we have are to go to dinner and a movie. Unless Chad has something up his shelves. We will see!

Our three year marriage has been nothing but amazing and special with a few splashes of surprises. I look forward to many more years of love and an amazing marriage with my WONDERFUL husband Chad. Happy Anniversary My Love!

Yummy Desserts on Show Us Your Life @ Kelly's Korner

First it is a beautiful Fall day in NWA.  I am sitting out in our back yard enjoying the afternoon.  Bella is searching for new treasures and I am thinking about desserts.  It is after all Friday and Show Us Your Life Favorite Dessert Recipes.  I love all Desserts with Chocolate you can't go wrong with Chocolate.  I personally would rather eat dessert before any meal that is how much I love desserts and especially Chocolate.  One of my favorite things to do is Bake and for the most part I usually make things with Chocolate.  My top favorite desserts are:
Brownies with Frosting
Cookie Dough
Yellow Cake with no icing
Red Velvet Cake
Sugar Cookie with icing from Rick's Bakery
and so much more I am sure I just can't think of anymore!
I recently have made these Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes for a cook out we went to a few weeks ago and they are AMAZING.

Ingredients
1/12 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1 1/3 cups water
1/3 cup canola oil
3 eggs

Directions
1.  Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt; set aside.  Beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a lager bowl until smooth.  Add 1 egg and the vanilla extract and beat until smooth.  Mix in the flour mixture until just incorporated.  Fold in the chocolate chips; mixing just enough to evenly combine.  Form the dough into tablespoon-sized balls; place onto a baking sheet, and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
2.  Preheat an oven to 350 degrees and line 24 muffin cups with paper liners.
3.  Beat 3 eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer to break up.  Add the cake mix, water, and canola oil; continue beating for 2 minutes on medium speed.  Spoon into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each 2/3 full.  Place a frozen cookie dough ball on the top center of each cupcake.
4.  Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the cake portion of the cupcake comes clean, about 20 minutes.  Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
Footnote - this recipe contains raw eggs.
Frost and Enjoy!
I look forward to going through all the desserts on Show Us Your Life.  So don't forget to stop by Kelly's Korner.  Happy Friday!

I ❤ Saturdays

I love Saturdays when Chad and I have nothing planned.  We spend the day usually sleeping and taking it easy.  However this morning that was not the case I was up at 5AM thinking WAY TO MUCH so I spent the morning catching up on Reality TV.  I watched Project Runway, Models of the Runway, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Top Chef.  That is a lot of shows but I love all of them.  What are your favorite Reality Shows?  Do share! Once I finished being lazy Bella and I went for a 2 1/2 mile run and it felt GREAT.
Chad and I enjoyed the early afternoon by first having lunch at Panera.  I had the new BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad.  It was Yummy!

Than we went to my favorite store Perfect Choice as they were having a sidewalk sale and it was awesome.  We got a retirement gift and I got a wonderful Waxing Poetic Bracelet with one of my birthday gift cards.

We finished up our outing by going to Walmart to get dinner and movies.  Since it is a rainy day in NWA we are spending the evening watching movies.  We rented X-Man, Gran Torino, and State of Play.  All guy movies, but I hoping they are good.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday evening!
I would like to thank one special blog reader that sent me a wonderful letter and the Beth Moore CD's on Delighting in God.  I so much look forward to listening to the series.  I appreciate your honesty in your letter and I am truly happy that you are expecting.  This is fantastic news that brings a smile to my face especially after reading your personal struggles.  I know our situation is a little different but it means so much that you are reaching out to someone that you don't even know and showing how much you care about me and my journey through infertility.  I am grateful for you and you don't even know how much I needed this letter this week.  If you are reading this and you sent me the wonderful gift I would love to keep in touch.  Please email me your contact information and let me also know if you have a blog.  All the best to this sweet blog reader.  I hope to hear from you!

Thai Chicken Pizza with Homemade Crust - Show Us Your Life

It is that time again in the week FRIDAY!  Kelly @ Kelly's Korner is hosting a Show Us Your Life and today it is show us your favorite go to dinner recipe.  Lately our go to dinner dish is Thai Chicken Pizza.  It is so yummy and has great flavor.  I make a homemade pizza crust that I got from my sister Amie years ago and we always have homemade crust when I make pizza.  You can use a pre-made crust for this recipe.
I hope that you enjoy the recipe as much as we do!  Recipes are hard for me to write out because I just add ingredients as I go without measuring.  I always cook and bake this way.  So I hope my details on how to make the pizza are helpful!
Ingredients Needed for Pizza Crust:
1 1/2 cup of warm water
1 tablespoon of yeast
dash of sugar
Stir and let rise for 10-15 minutes
After it as risen stir in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2-3 cups of flour
Add flour until mixture is not sticky
Spread on pizza pan
Pizza Toppings:
You will need Plum Sauce or Duck Sauce which can be found in the Asian Aisle at Walmart
Spread a thin layer over the pizza crust than add mozzarella cheese on top and Bake in the oven for 425 degrees until the cheese is slightly brown.  Remove from the oven
Cook Chicken while the crust is baking.  Cut chicken into small pieces and set aside.
In a separate pan add the following:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
3 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 teaspoon of hot sauce
2 teaspoons of monterey steak seasoning
2 tablespoons of honey
Melt the above ingredients together, add the chicken, and mixture together.
Add the chicken on top of the cheese pizza crust than add another layer of mozzarella cheese bake again until cheese is brown.
Cut and Serve
ENJOY!
Don't forget to stop by Kelly's Korner and see all the wonderful recipes!

How Can I Change?

My Friend Kelly at Kelly's Korner put this link on her blog and I spent the morning listening to it and it was simply AMAZING!  If you are waiting for a child or any thing else in life you should listen to this broadcast.
Here is a few details of the broadcoast, Author Ann Kiemel talks about the emotional pain she endured as a result of several miscarriages and her struggle to adopt a child, and encourages listeners to embrace suffering so that God can use it to transform and bless them.
Just remember a box a Kleenex I cried my eyes out!
Here is the link if you are interested in listening:

Embrace the Pain and Change!
I think I will be listening to this over and over to give me encouragement through weak days.
Thanks Kelly for sharing you are an AMAZING friend!

MY THOUGHTS ON CRAZY LOVE

I just want everyone to know that I have the best bloggy friends.  All the uplifting and thoughtful comments have put a lot of things in my life into perspective and I appreciate every single comment.  I have received wonderful emails from many of you that truly are amazing.  It as if you all know me so well and tell me exactly what I need to hear.  Does anyone else feel that way when you read other's journey through their blog?  It is simply amazing!

So I have been extremely busy with work and no time to read.  However this morning when I got up I promised myself that I would spend at least one hour if not more doing something for me.  So around 3 PM this afternoon I stopped what I was doing and spent the next two hours reading Crazy Love, Watching video suggestions from the book on www.crazylovebook.com, and watching the wonderful videos that Angie Smith and Jessica Turner have on the Bloom Community.  If you are reading Crazy Love and walking with many other women in this journey thru the Bloom Community I would love to know.  So if you would leave me a comment.

Now onto my thoughts on the first chapter of Crazy Love:
First the girls (meaning Angie and Jessica) discussed ways on How do you consistently remind yourself of God?  I thought that this was a great question.  I am no way perfect or think of God every single moment of every day and I use to think going to church on Sunday was good enough that I was doing the right thing.  However this changed in me over the past few months I believe that we need to think of God and Be All We Can Be every single day.  I have one particular friend that I truly believe is a TRUE example of living and thinking of God every day.  This person is someone I admire, I love her strength, and commitment to God.  I tell Chad all the time I want to be more like that person (expect I say her name).  So over the past few months each day I have spent many long walks thinking or worshiping to God and in this way I feel I am allowing myself to grow and life a more Godly Life.  I however loved the idea of journaling each day as a way to remind myself of God.  In my journal I would have 4 sections, first section would be prayer requests or people that are on my heart that need pray, second would be verses from the Bible or Songs that have touched my heart, third would be my thoughts as I am reading Crazy Love or My Journey through Infertility, and fourth would be All the Things I love and feel blessed to have in my life.  This way on those sad days like many of the sad days I have had this week I can step back and read all the wonderful blessings in my life.  So if you would like to share I would love to hear how you constantly remind yourself of God.

The overall chapter was about appreciating the surroundings that God gave us and not taking it for granted.  With all the noises and rushing around I do I know for sure that I don't stop and think WOW God created this world for me for all of us to enjoy.  He created me and all the details of my life no matter how BIG or small.  What do I do I spend the days not appreciating what he has done for me now.  As life happens and I forget.  I should appreciate and know God as well as he knows me and that is a challenge for me.  But I do hope that this journey of reading this AMAZING book by Francis Chan will allow me to grow closer to God.

A touching and thought provoking statement in one of the videos on the Bloom Community that just spoke to me today was, "How can I be grateful for my life and not take it for granted because if I don't than I will think that life is owed to me!"  How many of you feel this way?  I know that I need to be more grateful of my life because one day the life that I have now could all be gone in a blink of an eye.

I look forward to reading more of this book and taking more time to be with God and think about all that he has done for me.  If you have not joined the Bloom Community it is awesome and you will not be disappointed.  Have a Blessed Night!

Thanks - Love - Help

It warms my heart to read all the comments from my last post. Desperation is a big part of my life and having all your love and support to look at each day means the world to me. I send love and BIG hugs to all of you.

To all my followers I need some advice. I feel as if I have ruined a few relationships with my friends and family because I have shut the door to them this past year. I have shut the door to them because I didn't want to hear some of the stereotypical comments that all of us hear when we are going through infertility and TTC. It does not make me feel better at all. In fact it hurts because until you walk in those shoes you don't know how it feels. Now I feel those relationships have suffered because of the actions. So I am asking today for help in mending those relationships. How do I go about making everything better? How do I allow them into my life and not be scared of what will happen if I do? I desperately want to mend these relationships and I need help.
Will you help me?

DESPERATION

I tried to write this post yesterday after church, but I was a bit sad and emotional so I decided that I would wait until today to write a wonderful message on Desperation. Desperation is the act of being desperate or recklessness arising from despair. I would say that I feel desperate at times to become pregnant and I have allowed myself to do things that I would normally not do. The biggest disappointment I have during our journey to become parents is shutting the door on my friends and family. With this many of my friendships are not the same. I am not happy about it and I at this point I am not sure how to repair those broken friendships. I would say the friendships that I still have are the friends that did not give up on me and just stuck by my side even on tough days. I know that I have been reckless with allowing myself to let infertility run my life. But when you are living it day after day it is hard to let it go and live a normal life. I truly want to be normal and be able to get pregnant so easily, but the fact is that is not the case. I have to count days, I have to plan trips or my husband has to plan business trips around my ovulation days. I or we have to decide what the next steps will be in our journey to become parents. The summer is over and now we need to decide what the next steps will be to become parents. I or we have to spend or have already spent a large amount of money on fertility treatments and we will continue to until we become parents. So it is hard to stop thinking about all the details of becoming parents it is on my mind every day. I know that the best position for me to be in is to GIVE IT TO GOD and let him guide us through this journey and accept that it is in GOD'S HANDS. However that is easier said than done! My husband however has GIVEN IT TO GOD and is doing much better with accepting that it is GOD'S WAY and when the time is right we will be parents. I am not quite there yet. But I am happy to say that yesterday at church I had a moment where GOD was drawing me to him. I went to the alter yesterday at church and LAID IT ALL DONE AGAIN. I asked God to be near me and show me the way back to him, because he is the only thing that I should want or need. I need him to help me and show me that he is near and he will never let go of me.
In closing this post I want to share with you what I learned during the wonderful message our Pastor perched on "Desperation." Desperation leads you to Fear or Faith. Desperation Leads you to a Lie or Truth. Desperation leads you Away from God or To God. Desperation leads you to Death or Life. Today I will choose to have Faith, believe in the Truth of God's Word, I will run To God, and live my LIFE to the fullest as God would want me to do.

Draw Near to God and He will Draw Near to You - James 4:8

As I am desperate for a baby what in your life are you desperate for and can I walk with you in your journey. I would love to hear your story.
Have a Blessed Monday!

Time Traveling

I finally finished the Time Traveler's Wife and it was AMAZING. I am so glad that I finished and now I am even more excited that I can finally go see the movie. I have heard good things and bad things about the movie. I hope I enjoy it. I hope that Chad will take me this weekend. So in reading the book it made me think about Time Traveling. Would you like to Time Travel into the future or past? Throughout my time reading the book I thought about this over and over again and there is only one reason I would want to Time Travel and it would be to the future. If I could see the future in only one aspect I would love it. I would want to see in my future if I will be a mommy and have little ones. That is the only thing that I would like to know. Oh would it bring me great happiness to know this little fact. I would stop worrying and thinking about it everyday. If only we could Time Travel. If you could be a Time Traveler would you like to see anything in the past or in the future? I would love to hear others comments on this subject. If you have not read The Time Traveler's Wife I would highly recommend reading this thought provoking book.
Have a great weekend and I look forward to reading all the wonderful comments that all my bloggy friends will leave me.

BLOOM and CRAZY LOVE

I have joined the Bloom Community. Won't you? I really want to do a bible study group this year, but with my schedule at work and Awana's each Wednesday it is hard for me to get together with a group. If I start something I want to be committed 100% and not miss a day. So with that I have joined a wonderful group called the Bloom Community that was started with the help of Angie Smith and Jessica Turner. These two girls are AMAZING and I look up to them in many ways. If you don't know these two AMAZING girls you need to stop by there blogs and than jump over to the Bloom Community and Join Today!

The first book is CRAZY LOVE.
My husband has read this book and he has nothing but amazing things to say about it. So I am excited to start reading, discussing, and growing with the help of all the member at the BLOOM COMMUNITY. I am so excited that my sister Amie is also joining and I can't wait to see how we both grow within this community of amazing people. So won't you join today?

Mercy Seat - I know I am Running!

After having a tough day yesterday church spoke to me today and I felt moved by the music and the message. I especially felt God with me during the song: "Mercy Seat"
Sit back and enjoy the song as much as I did and Run To The Mercy Seat.

I know you are thinking WOW. After listening to that song!

Sad and Happy Saturday

Chad and I enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night home for Date Night. I was having a sad day and I was feeling depressed and just wanted to stay in bed all day, but thanks to my caring and supportive husband he did not allow this to take place. He made me get ready for the day and
we went for a drive (looking at homes for sale) and to Sonic
Happy Hour for a Diet Strawberry Limeade with extra strawberries. If you have not tired you should it is a WONDERFUL and REFRESHING DRINK.
We than decided to make our way to Target to pick up a few things that were out of stock at Walmart. Plus I got a really cute dress so it was a great trip to Target. It looks much better on than in the below picture. I think I will wear it to church today!

Chad and I than stopped by the following stores to find shelves for our laundry room.
Bed Bath and Beyond
Home Depot
Lowes
With no luck we moved on!
We than decided to enjoy a early dinner at Johnny Carinos.
Yummy! I love the bread!
Our next stop Walmart to pick up a few items for our cookout with the Fisher's. We bought Kendall the Hannah Montana Movie and she is so excited for us to come over tonight. She is so cute and always makes me smile! Plus she gives the best hugs!

Our date night finally started with watching a movie at home and enjoying the cool weather and SMORES with our Fire Pit.
So my day started out sad but it ended GREAT all because of one person My Wonderful Husband that does not take NO for an ANSWER.

CHAD AND HIS SHOES

Chad was in San Francisco this past week and one of his favorite things to do is go SHOE SHOPPING. He tells me all the time that California has better shoes than NWA. Chad made a stop at DSW and spent some of HIS money on SHOES that he had to have. He told me on the phone about his 15 minutes of shopping at DSW and how excited he was and he said, "It was not about how much I spent rather it was more about how much I SAVED!" I had to ask him several times how many pairs of shoes did he purchase and after a few comments, such as, just wait until you see them and I will tell you when I get home, he finally told me. Guess how many pairs of shoes he purchased for himself?
SIX
and not one pair was for me! What was he thinking!
The NEW shoes are still on the floor in the closet as Chad MUST go through his older shoes and donate them before these shoes make it to the shoe bins. This was my one request! So guys out there if you need some nice dress shoes my husband has a few! He loves SHOES!

Spiritual Walks

Will you walk with me? I walk 4 miles each day (weather permitting) in our neighborhood with our dog Bella. It starts with gym shorts, a t-shirt, socks, and my pink Nike shoes. I get my iPhone
and headphones ready, an excited dog ready with her red leash, and I am out the door. We start with walking and listening to some wonderful spiritual music. The music I listen to each time is different depending on my mood. It could be Addison Road, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Jeremy Camp, Kari Jobe, MercyMe, Selah, or Tenth Avenue North. Each song is special to me and is a great way for me to worship God and ALL the great things that are going on in my life. It also allows for me to think about ALL the struggles in my life and how I need to give it to God and he will take care of it for me. I also spend time praying to God about all sorts of things that are on my mind. It could be about my family, my friends, my blog friends, or specific areas in my life. One specific area that I pray about each day is giving it to GOD and TRUSTING in GOD that he will take care of us and will give us our dream of having a baby soon. Through my walks I listen to the music and in the words I feel my life in those words. Do you ever feel this way?
So walk with me as I share some songs with you.
Healer by Kari Jobe
My Thoughts:
Trusting in God to heal me from infertility I believe that God is my healer and he is all that I need. I believe that God is more than enough for me. He is all that I need.
Nothing is impossible for him and he HOLDS my world in his hands. So now listen to the words and find the words so God can be your Healer!
(I am having trouble loading more videos and I want to publish this post as I have had it ready to go since yesterday)
I hope that you will go on Spiritual Walks and find GREAT meaning in them and may God be with you during your walk!
It has been a raining here for the past few days and we have not been able to go walking and can you tell Bella is SAD or just being LAZY!

I Promised but I am Tired

I promised that I would write about my "Spiritual Walks" I take each day, however it has been a long day and it is going to have to wait until tomorrow. Work has been SUPER busy and I have been on my computer WAY TOO MUCH and my eyes are killing me. So instead of spending time on writing a blog post tonight I have spent the evening catching up my favorite blogs and after I publish this post I am closing my computer and relaxing for the rest of the night. Because tomorrow is going to be a BUSY day. I have so much work to catch up on and tomorrow night I have my first Awana Leaders Meeting. Tomorrow night Chad comes home so that is EXCITING!
Good Night My Friends!
