Happy 22 Months Grayson

Grayson is 23 months today, however I just finished up his 22 Month Post and I am working on his 23 Month Post, but with a newborn in our house I am doing a lot of catching up on everything.  Oh well we love our boys and have enjoyed the past 6 weeks  and 6 days having two boys.

I can't believe you have been with us for one month we are lucky parents to have you as our baby and apart of our family.  You are a blessing to our family and we thank God for his gift.

All I can say is thank goodness for my iPhone I can keep up with the frame a day project because at this moment I feel overwhelmed with all that I need to do.



Mom to Boys

I was inspired and touched after reading this and thought I would share.

I hope if someone was looking into my house that they would say, "that mommy lives in the moment"

because tonight this mommy let Grayson eat in his playroom...actually it was my dinner and Grayson decided he wanted it

and after he finished my bowl he wanted more so I made us both fresh bowls and we sat at his table and had dinner and of course he made a huge mess...what toddler doesn't

next it was time to wash his hands

well washing hands turned into playing with the water for a good 30 minutes.  But hearing him laugh and talk about the water and saying "hot" and "cold" was priceless.  Not to mention he got into everything that he possibly could around and near the sink.  Busy boy!  

So it might have been a later bedtime tonight, another mess to clean up, and changing PJ's again, but I would not trade it for the world.  I needed this moment today with Grayson just to laugh and be in the moment of life with Grayson

week 13 {frame a day}

Thanks EVERYONE for the words of encouragement and love on my last post.  A lot of great ideas so if you are about to have 2 under the age of 2 go check out the comments on my last post.  I really don't have any tips as I am still learning.  But if I get something figured out I will be sure to share.  It will take time and I know we will get in the swing of life with 2 boys, but I really just wanted to document this period to look back some day and laugh because I probably will. 

I loved the idea of creating a breastfeeding/nursing box for Grayson.  I am going to work on this box this week during the day when Grayson is at school.  I think this will really help.  I start going back to work in 2 weeks and this box will be much needed because I will have to add pumping to the mix.  Yikes! 

I also wanted to tell all of you that I am going to take a blogging break for the next two weeks.  I want to spend as much time with the boys and be in the moment and not worry about anything else.  We have family visiting in a few days and I just want to be with them and enjoy!  Thanks for your understanding and I will be back mid April.
