yes he is still in a crib...we have his toddler bed in the garage ready to go, but we are scared that he won't sleep well at night and will come to our room. We don't need two kids not sleeping...ha!

So I was really hoping to keep up with the Friday Show Us Your Life hosted by Kelly's Korner however life happened and I got behind...

This is the Kitchen in the home we are renting.  It is small with not much cabinet space, but with that I was able to downsize on items in our kitchen that I didn't use.  I now only have things in our kitchen that I use daily or often.

I love the cabinet colors in this kitchen and again I really do like the tile through out the entire house it really doesn't have a TON of up keep like wood floors...at least in my opinion.

In this rental I LOVE how BIG the room is and you should see the closet...HUGE!!!!

our headboard was custom made along with our bedding.  I have had the same bedding and headboard for about 6 years and I still love it

Another side note we spent this past weekend attending our town's Parade of Homes and we found a builder, a floor plan, and a potential subdivision for our future home.  We are so excited for this journey we will start soon.

Some of you may or may not know this, but our family over the past week have moved.  We sold our house finally after having it on the market for a year.  We have moved into a rental property in Bentonville and will start building our final dream home over the next several months. 

We moved into a much smaller place than our last home which meant downsizing a lot of furniture.  But all that matters is that we have a roof over our head and our kids are warm/cool and safe. 

We will be renting this current home for a year due to our lease agreement, but I am perfectly fine with that because it gives us time to focus on building our house and not feel rushed and the most important thing is that we focus and spend more time as a family. Instead of keeping up with the old house and making sure it is "SHOW READY" every day.  That is/was exhausting!

So I thought that I would share with you our new living room.

This main living areas of this home have tile.  Right now I am liking it.  It is cold in the morning time, but it really makes the space seem bright and bigger.

I really hope to start catching up on blogging.  We close on our house next week and after this weekend the move should be complete.  The past several weeks have been VERY interesting and we are ready to begin new chapters and create new memories in this home.

As many of you know I am a working mom.  Grayson goes to school everyday of the week and most Fridays I am able to keep him home and be just a mommy.  I treasure those days with Grayson!

I am trying to spend every moment with him on those Fridays as we only have about 5 more Fridays or less before Crew is here and than my time will be divided.

Grayson's Clothes Where do we Shop...

I get asked a lot where do I purchase Grayson's clothes?

So a day late I decided that I would link up to Kelly's post from Friday and share a few places. 

Since Grayson goes to daycare every day during the week I put him in clothes that I am okay with him getting food, paint, etc on them.  Most of these clothes are from Children's Place.  Every day he will wear sweatpants and a shirt with his Converse Shoes.  You can really find CUTE shirts that don't have silly animals on them etc at children's place.  Does that make sense?  Plus the prices at Children's Place are GREAT.

For weekend wear and Sunday mornings at church Grayson usually wears his nicer clothes that usually come from:

SheShe Made

H&M (Chad just was in Dallas and brought back some really cute clothes from this store)

He also wears polo shirts and khaki pants that we usually purchase from TJ Maxx. 

I also like CrewCuts for Grayson, his Auntie JJ spoils him with clothes from here.

For shoes I usually put him in his TOMS.

Another question I get asked a lot is where do I get Grayson's PJ's? 

I love pj's from Baby Gap and Children's Place those two are my favorite, but we also get some at Old Navy! 

I like Baby Gap and Children's Place because they have footed pj's for Grayson's age.

We just completed Grayson's Playroom with adding a TV to the room and we took a few things out of the room as it was getting crowded with all the toys.  Grayson is using this room more and more each day.  He just LOVES his jumperoo!

Finally Grayson's Nursery Post (Show Us Your Life)

So some of you have probably have seen Grayson's Nursery as I posted it back in May 2010 before Grayson was born.  Last Friday was Show Us Your Life Nursery Edition and I am now just getting around to posting.  I have received a few emails in regards to Grayson's nursery that I thought that I would answer in this post too. 

Step in side my little G's nursery and take a look at what we created just for him.

Circles on the wall were painted on by an artist that we hired to come and do the circles and Grayson's name.  However when she was working in his room all she did was use a stencil to create the circles.

Show Us Your Life - Kitchen

Any kitchen is my favorite part of a home!  So I am excited to stop by Kelly's Korner today and take a look at all the kitchens.  When we look at homes I must LOVE the kitchen or I move on.  In fact the home we are in now is the second home we looked at and I LOVED the kitchen.  I love that our kitchen is open to our living room and dining room.  So take a minute and step inside my kitchen.

This afternoon Grayson, Bella, and I went for a walk... it is a Warm Friday here (85 degrees in October) and we needed the fresh air!  Grayson enjoyed the walk in his Bob Stroller.  He is getting so big.
