Week 34 baby crew!
With 6 weeks or less to go
I am feeling okay having contractions daily and by the end of the day I am SO tired and my patience is wearing thin these days!
At our appointment last week Crew's heartbeat would start out at a typical speed that we are use to hearing then it would drop. This happened several times. So for about 45 minutes or so I was hooked up to the heartbeat machine and they did a fetal stress test. It was concerning in my eyes because when this happened with Grayson we had him the same day. All I kept thinking is we are NO where near ready for Crew and he has to bake a bit longer.
After the test my doctor just asked that I take it easy, watch closely for fetal movements and pay attention to the contractions I am having. So since the appointment I have tired my best to take it easy and I worry all day about movement. I am REALLY looking forward to my appointment on February 15th, 2012.
As for my sugar levels my doctor stated that all is going well, but I can't change my diet I still have to continue with no sugar or carbs.
Now for a Week 34 Update
I was already in comfy clothes for the night when we took these pictures and I look really tired, but I guess that goes with being 34 weeks pregnant!
Other news is our nursery furniture for Crew's room will not be here for another 2 or 3 weeks.
I was upset to hear this news, but I know in the end everything will get done. I have great friends that can help too. My mom will be at our house shortly after Crew arrives so she can help out too.
So we decided that all clothes for Crew will come down from the attic starting this week to be washed and we will label totes with sizes until the furniture arrives. This way that task can be completed and I can get Grayson's closet and drawers organized.
Because Crew's arrival could be earlier than we thought...

You are just so cute girly!! Will be praying for you and for baby Crew :)
You look great, Melissa! Hang in there :)
How exciting! We had Hays at 36 weeks and he was PERFECTLY healthy. Nothing was perfect or ready but once sweet Crew gets here, that won't matter. He just needs his momma.
Can't wait to hear the news, but praying it isn't too soon.
6 more weeks till chocolate!! And I can't wait to see his room finished!
Melissa you look gorgeous pregnant! You sure know how to rock it! Praying for baby crew :)
hang in there!
You are SO close! Keep up the good work! I can completely relate to how you felt during your stress test. When my daughter stopped moving one day, they sent me straight to the hospital for the NST and she was born that night. With my son, though, I was only 25 weeks when he wouldn't move one day and I was SO scared he was coming that day since that was my previous experience. Thankfully, he held on a few more weeks and was just fine. It's scary, though!
I look at your pics & can't believe you are 34 weeks. You are so tiny & adorable!
Take it easy girlie. Sounds like your little guy is eager to meet you.
