Crew's Nursery

The long awaited post is finally here!

Crew's Nursery Reveal!

Nursery Progress Pictures

Crew's nursery before anything was changed!

 Grayson checking out the room...

finally the nursery furniture arrived
We ordered his furniture on November 5th, 2011 and we just received it on February 24th, 2012

I have almost every detail complete in Crew's Nursery we are just waiting for a few items that are still being made.

a canvas print with Crew's name on it from Small Words Blog
diaper caddy from Baffin Bags that is a chevron print
Crew's name in blocks - ordered from Magens Bay Designs and she did a custom design for me after I sent her our nursery colors

I am still looking for a colorful stuffed elephant for Crew's nursery as well to use for pictures, but I can't find anything.  I found one, but it is pink.  That won't work!  If you see anything let me know.
Otherwise I think I might just use his chair only for his monthly pictures.
I am going to share all the images of his nursery and at the bottom of the post I will share the details and hopefully this will answer all questions.
I LOVE how it all turned out! It is so much different than Grayson's nursery.
Enjoy the tour!

paint colors purchased at Walmart
light blue - Glidden 1407 Navy 1 Satin Finish
darker blue - Glidden Shale EB32-4 Satin Finish

It's GORGEOUS, Melissa! The colors are beautiful and I'm uber jealous of the well organized closet :) Poor Houston's is a MESS. I also wanted to do striped in H's nursery but when it was time... we just didn't have the energy to tape it all up! haha You did a beautiful job as I knew you would. I can't wait to meet Mr. Crew!

Melissa- I love Crew's nursery! You're right, it's different than Grayson's, but I still love it! You do such a great job decorating and taking care of all of the details. Crew is a lucky little boy already!

Great Room. I see you around daycare every now and then. I think your husband is now working with our team (beauty team). Look for Elmer the Elephant. It is a book and a patchwork elephant. The book is really good and is a good way to teach children that it is okay not to look like everyone else. I got both at Barnes and Noble, but you can probably just google it.

Super cute!!! So glad you got the "you are my sunshine" sign!! It looks perfect :-)

I love the nursery! From what I've seen you need to quit your job and go into interior design. You really do have an excellent sense of design. And just in case anyone is interested in it, the crib and dresser are actually by Echelon, the style is Monarch. (I work at a baby store)

just happened upon your blog today and read you're looking for an elephant. :) and i just ran across this pattern a couple days ago. looks like i was meant to find it to pass along to you. i book marked it to sew for a friend's little girl, but happy to pass along the link to you too. not sure if you're a sewer, but maybe this will solve your elephant woes.

many congrats on the beautiful baby boy!
