Marley Willow

This is my niece Marley Willow and I just had to share these pictures of her with all of you.  We loved spending time with her this past weekend!  She was so much fun!  She just had her 1st Birthday and she is adorable and I just love her RED hair.  Marley has the best personality and I look forward to seeing her again soon!  We love you Marley Girl! 

Mika Beth Prints I love and Birthday Wishes

This past weekend we received our Mika Beth Prints and I am in love with them!  I could just stare at them all day!  Chad hang them up for me last night and I love seeing them in our home.  These prints are my birthday present this year.  Thanks Chad and the Hansen Family for getting these prints of my sweet Grayson for me.  A special THANK YOU to Mika Beth Photography for capturing these images of Grayson.  They will forever be treasured in our home.  Click here to see additional images of our photo moments with Mika Beth.  All the pictures are just perfect!

G's 2 Month Check Up

Ouch my baby had to get three shots today and it made Mommy sad to see her baby cry.



Grayson now weighs 10 pounds 10 ounces and is 22 1/2 inches in length. He is 20% percentile in weight, 19% percentile in height, and 15% percentile in his head circumference. So my little G is growing and that makes mommy and daddy happy!

We are just taking it easy tonight and Grayson is resting. Happy a great Thursday evening.

The Magic Week for Us

I have been meaning to blog about our Magic Week with Grayson

Week 6

I felt during this particular week that I started knowing Grayson well! 

I knew his cries better and the meaning behind each cry...

I knew when he was hungry...

I knew when he was gassy or having trouble popping...(sorry TMI)

I knew when he was starting to get tired and needed to be put to bed...

and I knew how to hold him to fall asleep...

I started learning that he cries just for awhile before he starts to wake up from a nap, but then he stops and is Happy...

before then

I felt like I was trying a 1000 plus different things

and being a new Mommy it was overwhelming, but now I feel as if I know my little G! 

So to all those new Mommies the Magic Week for us was Week 6...

so when you are feeling lost and wondering when the endless nights of no sleep will end for us it all started turning around at Week 6.  Grayson sleeps at least 4 hours if not more during the night and the best part of Week 6 for us was seeing Grayson's first smile!  So please know it does get better.  Every Mommy I know would tell me this and it is true it does get better.  Grayson is now 8 Weeks Old and it keeps getting better and better with each passing day!   

But please know we still have our difficult days where I don't get to shower until Chad gets home.  But I would not have it any other way.
