Look who is two months old today...
Grayson is...Yeah! I can't believe my little G is already two months!
So what is Grayson up to?
- The best news to share is that you sleep through the night or at least Mommy thinks sleeping from 11PM-4AM is a great night! You have been sleeping through the night over the past two weeks.
- You wake at 4AM to eat and you fall back to sleep until 7AM
- You are on a schedule most days. Some days we have days where all you want to do is eat. I call those your growing days!
- You like to be held tightly, your music playing, the room dark, and rocked to fall asleep.
- You are doing great at eating. You eat every three hours during the day and get so upset if I am not quick enough getting you started to breastfeed.
- You take a bottle very well. We give you a bottle of breastmilk each night before bed and we also have one ready when we are out of the house or at church.
- You have a routine each night with your daddy. Daddy feeds you, gives you a bath, and he rocks you to sleep. It is your time together with your Daddy!
- You KNOW HOW TO SMILE and it is my favorite thing to see each day!
- When we talk to you, you SMILE and coo back noises to both Mommy and Daddy.
- You love to watch the ceiling fans in our house and you are always looking at the lights.
- When Mommy is talking you follow my voice. Daddy has seen you do this several times while you are playing in your room on the floor.
- You like your bounce seat for about 5-10 minutes, but that is it!
- You do not like your swing!
- You found your hands this past week and suck on them often.
- You are so funny with your pacifier. If we are in the car or not at home you will take the paci from me, but if we are at home you have nothing to do with it.
- If you have a GOOD morning nap like two to three hours of sleep you are so HAPPY the rest of the day, but if not then you are crabby. On your good days you take a morning nap, an afternoon nap, and an early evening nap before going to bed between 10-11PM.
- You have been on one road trip and did GREAT!
- You are in size newborn diapers
- You are finally fitting into your 0-3 month clothes
- I am not sure how much you weigh as we don't go to the doctor until next week, but I think that you are at least 8 pounds if not more.
- You take all your naps in your crib, but you still sleep in our room at night in the pack n play!
- I love when I come into your room and you are crying and I say "Mommy is here" and you stop crying. It is too cute!
- You are the shining light in our lives and we LOVE you so much!
I can't wait to see how much you change next month. I think you change every day and I love every thing about you. You have the most perfect lips and you are our handsome little man!
