The Big Reveal is TODAY!

My sister took this photo and put it on her blog yesterday.  I borrowed the photo for my post today.  Thanks Amie I just love your photos.  Amie is in the beginning stages of starting her photography business and I just love seeing her work.  I can't wait until she takes photos of our baby! 

Today is the Gender Party at our home!  I hope that you will stop by my blog this evening and find out if we are having a girl or a boy!  I am so excited for everyone to find out!

Family Reveal Moment

Last Night Chad and I spent time Skyping with my family to share the news with them.  Since they live in Montana, South Dakota, and Hawaii they won't be able to be apart of the Big Reveal Party on Saturday so we had a Family Reveal Party.  I asked each of my family members to wear the color they think we are having and it was great to see what each of them wore.  My sister Amie did a cute BLOG POST that I thought I would share with all of you.  So go here to see what her family did to show us what their thoughts were on what we were having.  It is so sweet and a great memory for us!  Thanks Amie, Brian, Aidan, and Drew!

I truly appreciate your understanding on waiting to find out until Saturday.  I am excited for the party and I can't wait to see our friends.  So if you check on Saturday night around 8PM I will have a scheduled blog post with the Big Reveal for all my wonderful Blog Friends.

The Big Reveal ?

WOW!  What an amazing day I have had!  I feel so blessed to be carrying this bundle of joy!  We have a very Active Little One in my belly!  The ultrasound appointment went AMAZING and our ultrasound tech was so sweet and took her time with us.  I have felt blessed all day.  The best feeling I got out of the appointment was that all of it is REAL, Chad and I are going to be parents soon.  Our baby is healthy!  You are probably dieing to know is it a Girl or a Boy.  But you are going to have to wait as I have special plans for our family and friends.  This coming Saturday Chad and I are having a Gender Reveal Party.  So until than I hope that you can be patient and wait to hear the news.  I promise you will find out on Saturday!  I am so excited to share the news with all of you.  Thank you for all the sweet comments on my blog, the many tweets, text messages, and facebook messages they all mean the world to me!  I will leave you with a glimpse at our baby!

The Big Moment - Will it be a Girl or a Boy?

As I sit here and wait for Chad to arrive home to take me to the doctor all I can think about is what will it be like?  Will everything be okay?  Will we be having a boy or a girl?  Our lives after today will change forever as we will know if we are bringing a boy or a girl into this world to join our little family.  It is so exciting!  Today everything seems to feel real with my pregnancy.  I am starting to get a baby bump that people can see and after today I can say I am having a girl or a boy.  What a big day for Chad and I.  Please keep us in your prayers.  Our appointment is in less than one hour.  Yeah!  Happy Wednesday and thanks in advance for all your love and support!

Week 20

Today I am 20 Weeks!  

I have reached the half way point in my pregnancy.  

Yeah!  

Baby Stafford is the length of a Banana!  

This week is an exciting week for us on Wednesday morning we get to find out the Gender of Baby Stafford!  I am so looking forward to this appointment that I hope I can sleep the next two nights.  We have some FUN plans this week for our family and friends.  I can't wait!  

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along:  20 weeks

Total Weight Gain/Loss:  Not sure, but I will find out on Wednesday January 6th, 2010

Maternity Clothes:  None Yet

Sleep:  Sleeping is going okay I wake up worried that I will roll over on my belly or back.  But I did get a new full body pillow.  I just love it!  

Best Moment this week:  It will be on Wednesday when we find out if we are having a boy or a girl! 

Gender:  Not Yet, but Wednesday is the BIG DAY!

Movement:  None 

Food Craving:  Honey Nut Cheerios and Dark Chocolate

What I miss:  I still miss Chocolate Milk

What I am looking forward to:  Our appointment on Wednesday, I know I have said this several times in this post but I am so excited!  

Symptoms:  Hip pains, but I think that was due to all the driving and sitting I did the past two weeks.

Snowy Monday

It is a snowy Monday in NWA!  We don't get a ton of snow here in NWA so when it does snow it is a BIG deal.  In fact it is suppose to be a very cold week here too!  If you read my last post we have a BIG week in the Stafford Home, on Wednesday we find out if we are having a girl or a boy!  YEAH!  I just hope that I can sleep the next two days.  I have a busy few days at work so that will help the days pass quickly.  So what are your guesses?  Boy or a Girl? 

I wanted to share a few things with all of you, let's just say this is a CATCH UP post.  Before our Christmas trip Chad and I had new cabinets put into our laundry room and they are awesome.  I wish we would have gotten them sooner.  So here is a before picture and an after picture.  What do you think?

New Year's Weekend Trip

Chad and I spent the New Year's Holiday at Chad's parents house in Tennessee.  Our journey started on Wednesday December 30th, 2009 with a stop at the Ramsey's house in Bee Branch, AR for a birthday celebration for Mary.  It is always great to see Mary and Greg.  We were planning on taking Mary out to eat for her birthday at her favorite place, Marketplace... however Mary wanted to spend quality time with us so she made dinner for us so we wouldn't have to spend time driving to Conway and than back to Bee Branch.  It was very sweet of her and she always makes the best food.  She sure does spoil us!  Later that evening we had cake and ice cream and played Phase 10.  Here are a few pictures from our night together.

The next morning we made our way to Tennessee.  We had about 5 hours to drive before getting to Chad's parents house.  It was a tough drive for me as I am getting uncomfortable driving for long periods of time plus I easily get car sick!  That drive was the LONGEST drive EVER!  We stopped several times as I was uncomfortable and needed to walk.  Plus I was hungry and all I wanted was a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, however that is tough to find at any restaurant.  So I settled and let Chad pick where we went and eat.  But later that night I did have a bowl of dry Honey Nut Cheerios.  In fact I had Honey Nut Cheerios all weekend long at Chad's parents house.  I was loving them!  We finally got to Chad's parents on New Year's Eve and had a short visit before we headed to bed.  Chad and I tired REALLY HARD to stay up until midnight, but we couldn't make it, however we did make it to 11PM and if we were in NYC it would have been midnight so we kissed and fell asleep.  What a great way to spend our last New Year's Eve without a baby.  Next year will be AMAZING!  I can't wait!!!!! 

On Friday January 1st, 2010 we spent time at Chad's grandmother's house (my momma) and I love seeing her.  She has the best spirit and is always excited to see us!  I wish that we could bring her home with us.  After spending most of the day with My Momma we drove back to Chad's parents home and I cooked all of us dinner.  I made Chicken and Sausage Pasta, however I had a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.  Later that evening we played a game of Phase 10.  On our final day at Chad's parents house we spent the entire day doing NOTHING.  Just sitting at home watching TV and it was really hard for me to sit all day.  But I guess when you live in the woods and it is cold, there really is not much to do!  I was very HAPPY to drive home today as Chad and I have driven 36 hours in a car over the past two weeks and that is ALOT of time in a car.  We have decided that this was our final long distance trip in a car before the baby comes.  If we go any where it will be in a plane.  So we had a boring New Year's Eve, but the most important thing is that we were able to spend time with both our families over the holidays and we would not change it for anything.  I hope all of you had a GREAT New Year's Eve and that the Year 2010 is treating you all well!  

We have a very exciting week this week!  I am 20 weeks tomorrow and the BIG ultrasound day is Wednesday January 6th 2010.  I can't wait and I am so excited to share the news with all of you.  Have a great week!
