My Living Room - Show Us Where You Live by Kelly

First I would like to say that it is raining again in Northwest Arkansas and I wish I would have taken my living room pictures yesterday when it was sunny. Oh well! I hope you enjoy my living room as much as I do!


This view of my living room is from the front door. When we first moved into our house the living room had carpet and we decided about a year ago to lay wood floor. I love that we have wood floors in the living room. I really like how the tile separates the two spaces.


Chad and I received this sign, All because two people fell in love... from my mom as a wedding gift. It hangs on the wall above the living room and it can be seen by every guest that visits our house when they enter the front door. I just love the details!


As you enter our front door you will see the above distressed green hutch with a tall mirror and beautiful table lamps. We got this at I Home in Rogers, Arkansas. I just love that store. In fact a lot of our furniture is from there. A picture of our nephew Aidan and a blue-green glass bowl sits on the hutch. We received the glass bowl from our Arkansas parents Mary and Greg Ramsey.


This view is when you enter from the garage or the guest hallway. As you can see we have bright colors in our living room. Trust me when I tell you I do change the pillows and accessories often, but I would say that for now I am very happy with the pillows and accessories we have in this room. I love decorating and finding special pieces for our house that no one has. Like these table lamps, I love the details of the lamps we again got these at I Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Chad and I looked every where for new lamps and when we finally found them I was not sure I wanted them, because they were expensive and I could not see us paying that much for the lamps. However Chad decided that he we had to have them and one day on his own he went a picked them up... he was lucky that day as they were having a 1/2 price sale on all lamps! Yeah!


The above picture is the view from the entrance of the kitchen. As you can see our dog Bella wanted to be in the picture. I love the rug. We got this rug at Pottery Barn. Our couches are from Sam's Club and they are just great, I love the pillows that we have on them. The pillows are from Pottery Barn as well. They are basic with a splash of color.

This clock is above our fireplace. We got the clock a few years ago at Target. The glass figures and the feathers are from Perfect Choice in Bentonville, Arkansas. I just love local gift and decor shops. They always have great accessories at a great price.


This tall vase with bright yellow-orange sunflowers are from Pottery Barn. I got the vases on sale (when I say sale I mean around $4-$10 for all three) and I just love how they look on the kitchen bar. The picture is our engagement picture and a few comments from friends during our bridal shower.


Our TV Stand is a great piece, it is from Sam's Club. I love the big green plate that we have on the TV Stand. We got this green plate at Perfect Choice and it has been in our living room for the past three years.
