It is that time again in the week FRIDAY! Kelly @ Kelly's Korner is hosting a Show Us Your Life and today it is show us your favorite go to dinner recipe. Lately our go to dinner dish is Thai Chicken Pizza. It is so yummy and has great flavor. I make a homemade pizza crust that I got from my sister Amie years ago and we always have homemade crust when I make pizza. You can use a pre-made crust for this recipe.
I hope that you enjoy the recipe as much as we do! Recipes are hard for me to write out because I just add ingredients as I go without measuring. I always cook and bake this way. So I hope my details on how to make the pizza are helpful!
Ingredients Needed for Pizza Crust:
1 1/2 cup of warm water
1 tablespoon of yeast
dash of sugar
Stir and let rise for 10-15 minutes
After it as risen stir in 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2-3 cups of flour
Add flour until mixture is not sticky
Spread on pizza pan
Pizza Toppings:
Pizza Toppings:
You will need Plum Sauce or Duck Sauce which can be found in the Asian Aisle at Walmart
Spread a thin layer over the pizza crust than add mozzarella cheese on top and Bake in the oven for 425 degrees until the cheese is slightly brown. Remove from the oven
Cook Chicken while the crust is baking. Cut chicken into small pieces and set aside.
In a separate pan add the following:
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
3 tablespoons of peanut butter
1 teaspoon of hot sauce
2 teaspoons of monterey steak seasoning
2 tablespoons of honey
Melt the above ingredients together, add the chicken, and mixture together.
Add the chicken on top of the cheese pizza crust than add another layer of mozzarella cheese bake again until cheese is brown.
