Will you walk with me? I walk 4 miles each day (weather permitting) in our neighborhood with our dog Bella. It starts with gym shorts, a t-shirt, socks, and my pink Nike shoes. I get my iPhone
and headphones ready, an excited dog ready with her red leash, and I am out the door. We start with walking and listening to some wonderful spiritual music. The music I listen to each time is different depending on my mood. It could be Addison Road, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Jeremy Camp, Kari Jobe, MercyMe, Selah, or Tenth Avenue North. Each song is special to me and is a great way for me to worship God and ALL the great things that are going on in my life. It also allows for me to think about ALL the struggles in my life and how I need to give it to God and he will take care of it for me. I also spend time praying to God about all sorts of things that are on my mind. It could be about my family, my friends, my blog friends, or specific areas in my life. One specific area that I pray about each day is giving it to GOD and TRUSTING in GOD that he will take care of us and will give us our dream of having a baby soon. Through my walks I listen to the music and in the words I feel my life in those words. Do you ever feel this way?
So walk with me as I share some songs with you.
Healer by Kari Jobe
My Thoughts:
Trusting in God to heal me from infertility I believe that God is my healer and he is all that I need. I believe that God is more than enough for me. He is all that I need.
Nothing is impossible for him and he HOLDS my world in his hands. So now listen to the words and find the words so God can be your Healer!
(I am having trouble loading more videos and I want to publish this post as I have had it ready to go since yesterday)
I hope that you will go on Spiritual Walks and find GREAT meaning in them and may God be with you during your walk!
It has been a raining here for the past few days and we have not been able to go walking and can you tell Bella is SAD or just being LAZY!

Music helped me SO much when we were waiting. I listened to a lot of songs that helped me and those songs still mean a lot to me.
Praying God gives you comfort through the music and that you will continue to hope in Him. I KNOW that you will be a mother soon. Praying so hard and believing!
WOW! Guess what? Hubby and I use to walk four miles in the evenings until football practice for two boys stole our time (smile). I love spiritual walks and they are so healing - spiritually and physically. Reading your post has made me miss my walks.
Thanks for posting...I kinda do the same thing every day too - music definately has a way of "healing the soul". Thank God for great Christian artists who are so gifted.
Thanks for posting...we go on two mile walks everyday, but I never really thought to bring my ipod along with me and listen. I usually just talk to the dog. :) I'm going to bring it along tonight.
hey melissa! what an awesome music list you have, all the great ones! :)
I adore the photo of bella all curled up on her bed. please keep our weim (grover) in your prayers, my husband is at the vet with him right now and it looks as if he might be facing surgery later today/tonight. i am so upset fearing the worst. i think i will listen to some of those songs for some peace today too.
((((melissa)))) You are so special. I pray for you and think about you guys all the time. Your journey weighs so heavily on my heart. And I mean...like every day. I pray for you...all the time. Enjoy your spiritual walks and special time with God. I, too, believe in that baby who will be a part of your future--and I pray it is VERY soon. Love you! Big hugs!!
